이 사이트는 머신러닝을 활용한 이미지 분류 기술을 일반 사용자가 직접 체험할 수 있도록 만든 학습·체험 프로젝트로 시작했어요. 어렵게만 느껴지는 AI 기술을 ‘동물상’이라는 누구나 익숙한 주제와 결합해, 부담 없이 가지고 놀 수 있는 형태로 풀어냈습니다.

Why We Built This

This site started as a learning project for hands-on experience with image classification. We wanted to take what often feels like an intimidating technology and pair it with a familiar, playful theme so anyone can enjoy it.

사용된 기술

분석 모델은 Google에서 제공하는 Teachable Machine을 통해 직접 학습되었습니다. 이미지 분류 모델을 손쉽게 만들 수 있는 도구로, 다양한 데이터를 학습시켜 강아지상·고양이상을 분류하는 모델을 구성했어요.

• 호스팅: 정적 호스팅 기반 (서버 측 데이터 저장 없음)

Technology Stack

The classification model was trained directly with Google's Teachable Machine. We curated training images for dog-face and cat-face impressions and wrapped the resulting model in a small static site.

모델의 한계와 책임

학습된 데이터의 양과 다양성에 따라 결과가 달라질 수 있어요. 예를 들어 다음과 같은 상황에서는 정확도가 낮아질 수 있습니다.

• 얼굴이 정면이 아니거나 일부가 가려진 사진
• 조명이 너무 어둡거나 밝아서 이목구비가 흐릿한 사진
• 여러 사람이 함께 찍힌 사진
• 강아지·고양이 외 동물상에 가까운 인상

이 점을 고려해, 결과는 외모 평가나 자기 판단의 절대적인 기준이 아닌 참고용 재미 콘텐츠로 받아들여 주세요. 사이트는 사용자에게 어떠한 외모 기준도 제시하지 않으며, 모든 인상은 그 자체로 고유한 매력을 가진다고 믿어요.

Model Limitations

Accuracy depends on the volume and diversity of training data. The result may be less reliable in cases like:

• Photos that aren't front-facing, or where the face is partially blocked
• Lighting that's too dark or bright, washing out the features
• Group photos with multiple people
• Faces closer to other animal impressions (bear, fox, rabbit, etc.)

Please treat the result as fun reference content, not as a verdict on appearance or character. We don't endorse any beauty standard — every impression has its own charm.
